Welcome to Rector Drew V.A. School

If you should choose Rector Drew School for your child, he or she will have the benefit of a Church School education with each day having an act of worship. The school has very close links with St Deiniol’s Parish Church. The clergy visit regularly to lead the collective worship and, as a school, we visit the church for Harvest Festival, Christmas, Ash Wednesday and Ascension Day. At the end of the school year a special ‘Leavers’ Service’ is held in church.

The school is a happy community, which encourages its members to take a pride in their school. At Rector Drew School your child will be treated with care and we will try to ensure that your child is taught to respond with a caring and respectful attitude to his/her peers and all the adults in the community.

Once a year the children will be required to attend school in the evenings for a concert and to attend church in the evening for our Annual Carol Service.  This is a very important part of school life and all children are expected to forego other activities on these evenings.

I am sure your child will be very happy with us and we know that we will do our utmost to help him or her to develop personally, socially and academically in a caring, Christian environment.
